My son loves this extra add on. He has so much fun with snap-circuits. I would not hesitate recommending anything this company makes. Instructions are good, and he has a lot of fun with it.
This item is not very good: it lacks sufficient magnetic power when using the batteries as directed to really demonstrate the usefulness of electromagnets. If the battery holder could hold twice as many batteries to provide current to the electromagnet, then maybe the electromagnet in this product would be effective enough to demonstrate the technical principles it was intended to.
